As part of the Movement Disorders Division at the University of Cincinnati, Ohio, Asli Beyza serves as a research assistant on the Hypothesis Testing Project, under the mentorship of Dr. Alberto J. Espay. The team focuses on clinical trials investigating disease-modifying treatments for Parkinson’s disease and Alzheimer’s disease. Her work contributes to advancing innovative therapeutic strategies for neurodegenerative disorders at one of the leading centers for movement disorders research.

Asli Beyza is also part of the neurosurgical research team at the University of Birmingham, where she contributes to a project focused on Anesthesia Dolorosa, a rare and challenging facial pain condition. Her work supports the advancement of surgical approaches for this under-recognized disorder.
